Green grass, blue sky, clement weather and pleasant hills rolling off into the distance. Mongolia: home of the windows XP desktop. A scene surely picturesque but one you'ren't (!) accustomed to finding here at sleepycity. Where's the sewage, the drains, the metro, the trains?

I hoped the two of you would be found DEAD and cuddling in the desert. The cuddling part only exacerbated by your deaths and your deaths only highlighted by the cuddling.
I dont think ive ever seen anything id describe as EPIC$. I thought it just noobs like Zero that say that? :D
Stylin words though padre.
I love your stories, just make me wanna pack up and leave to discover everything life has to offer.
nah, mongolia is too mainstream now. greenland is where it's at.
but seriously, keep it up. i'll have to live vicariously through you from my suburban bedroom.
did you ever up end up tasting the fremented mares milk?
nice write up, you've infected the masses with wanderlust
air33 - we saw sleet, but not snow.
siolo - EPIC$ is the official currency by which 'explores' are traded and valued. I thought everyone knew that?
Sno - I'm constantly lost. If I knew what I was meant to be doing with my life I'd be doing it. Until I find that out, this is the best substitute. Perhaps with all this wandering I'll find it. Maybe this is as good as it gets? GPS helps to.
ulive - I learnt that from the samurai back in japan, the mongolians just taught us how to have sex in a yort and fall off their motorbikes.
impreza - greenland you say? I have my viking helmet at the ready. I've always wanted to do a boating expedition. Flying there is just too... easy.
flame, we drank their goat's milk tea and munched their hard-as-rocks goat cheese curd. It's no french Camembert but after a day in the saddle it's close.
The lack(?) of forum defined EPIC content is surely obliterated by the fact that the trip in itself surpasses any forum epic-nes? Must have been an amazing feeling when your lift departed and you're left with bikes, supplies and a big fat desert!! :)
awe-ways inspiring...
Best
Chris
I think they both compliment each other.
Very nice read.
